polkadotHOME hits the road

we're traveling to one of the largest organized antique shows in the country.

we have lists of things to be on the lookout for, and are definitely ready to brave the crowds (and the 95 degrees and sun? thunderstorms?) to discover unique treasures.

now, the only problem is parting with them!

obsessed with storage

i love antique boxes, bins, pails, buckets, tins, drawers...anything that can work as storage is a plus around here. i recently found an old box filled with round antique clothespins. long ago a furniture maker scratched "furniture nails" on the box, with an old (furniture) nail (of course!) Looks like his wife claimed the box back for her clothespin stash. it makes a cool display piece with a bit of history attached.
