traveling around NY this weekend we came across an antique store in a basement of an old brick building. down rickety wooden stairs was a discovery that was amazing. a hundred old wooden crates, many with their original paper labels or vibrant painted graphics. all in great condition. they ranged from enbalming fluid crates to battery crates, to fruit, coffee and livestock feed. they also ranged from $100 and up..., yes, they were pretty cool. there will be a small shop update tonight, with a really pretty mirrored vanity tray and a few other new 'old' finds. cool stuff...
